Bare Knuckle 470k Resistor

A 470kΩ resistor can be used to modify the resistance of a 500k or 550k volume pot, to give a smoother tone when used with single coils. This is ideal when you have  humbuckers and single coils mixed in a guitar which has a single master volume pot.
